A recent survey by finda.com.au, awarded two local restaurants in the asian cuisine category.The Spirit House at Yandina and The Spirit of Tibet in Mooloolaba were both included in the site’s Queensland-wide review of asian restaurants. The dish that they call Shashi at the Sprirt of Tibet was deemed the highlight, marinated chicken breast in a uniquely flavoured creamy sauce topped with coriander. The Himalayan goat vindaloo was also mentioned in dispatches though it is said to be for the spice fiend as customers consuming eat are regularly seen with steam coming out of their ears. The Spirit House at Yandina, caters all year round for locals and tourists staying in the Coolum resorts and Mooloolaba apartments near-by, with both an award winning restaurant and a highly respected cooking school, one of it’s great dishes is the Tamarind Glazed Duck with Cumin Spice Eggplant Relish. Harvest voted best restaurant in Coolum

If you are looking for somewhere to eat this week in Coolum Beach you can do a lot worse than check out these reviews of Coolum restaurants, Harvest is currently top of the pile followed by Lavish Deli and Myplace. They all offer something different in terms of views and menu but i have eaten at all 3 and thoroughly enjoyed it Click here
